Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Clip Army ("Clip Army", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our content-management and social-media scheduling service (the "Service"). Clip Army connects to third-party social platforms through their official APIs, on behalf of the people who own those accounts, to schedule and publish content and to report on its performance.
1Information we collect
- Account connections. When you connect a social account, the platform gives us a scoped access token through its official OAuth flow. We never receive or store your platform password.
- Profile and channel data. Basic public details the platform exposes for a connected account — such as username, display name, avatar, and follower count — used to identify the account inside the Service.
- Content you schedule. The videos, images, captions, and post settings you queue through the Service, so we can publish them to your connected accounts.
- Performance metrics. Aggregate post statistics the platform returns — views, likes, comments, reach — used to show how published content is performing.
- Operational data. Basic logs (timestamps, request status, error messages) needed to run the Service reliably and troubleshoot problems.
2How we use information
- To publish and schedule the content you queue to the accounts you have connected.
- To display your connected accounts, scheduled posts, and their performance in the dashboard.
- To operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Service.
- To comply with the API terms and content policies of each connected platform.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your content or metrics for advertising.
3How information is shared
- Connected platforms. We send your scheduled content and requests to the social platform you are posting to (for example TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, or X), using their official APIs. Their handling of that data is governed by their own privacy policies.
- Service providers. Infrastructure we rely on to run the Service (hosting, databases, the scheduling engine). They process data only to provide those services to us.
- Legal. Where required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Clip Army and its users.
4Access tokens and security
Access tokens are stored to keep your accounts connected and are transmitted over encrypted connections. We apply reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect them. You can revoke Clip Army's access at any time — either from within the Service or directly in the connected platform's app settings — which invalidates the token.
5Data retention
We keep connection and content data for as long as your account is connected and you use the Service. When you disconnect an account or ask us to delete your data, we remove the associated tokens and content within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain limited records to meet legal obligations.
6Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to withdraw consent for processing. To exercise these rights, disconnect the relevant account and contact us at the address below.
7Platform compliance
Clip Army uses each platform's official API in accordance with that platform's developer terms and policies. Data obtained from a platform's API is used only to provide the scheduling and reporting features described here, and is not repurposed beyond what those policies permit.
8Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, by notice within the Service.
